Justice for Our Neighbors - Southeastern Michigan (J.F.O.N.-SEMI)
Is part of a national program that provides free, high-quality Immigration counseling and legal assistance to those in need. Dearborn First U.M.C. houses a monthly clinic site with a full-time immigration attorney on the second Monday of each month from 3-6 P.M. throughout the year. Ministry to the World - Community Outreach
Volunteer efforts by members of our congregation to serve the common good of our community and world. From supporting U.M.C.O.R. with donations, serving meals at Cass Community Social Services in Downtown Detroit, to providing mittens, hats, and holiday gifts to the children of the Methodist Home in Redford. Our congregation is dedicated to mission and service work.

Welcome Center & New Membership
Our welcome center is located in the north transept of our sanctuary inside the glass doors that lead from our rear parking lot to our sanctuary (northwest corner entrance). Bob & Beverly McCain are the leaders of these important ministries of our church. Volunteers are invited to serve refreshments during fellowship after Sunday services and all special events. Calendars, newsletters, bulletins are distributed, and questions answered by the McCain's or volunteers

The United Methodist Women is the longest running special group/organization in our church. They sponsor events, support local ministries, add much to the culture of our church. Historically women have held positions of power and prestige in the Methodist church. It is no different with our U.M.W. group headed by Lorraine Murdoch.
