Dearborn First UMC values and supports education and higher learning by providing college tuition scholarships. Scholarships are awarded for full and part-time students who are members of Dearborn First UMC seeking certification, undergraduate, and graduate degrees in the areas of ministry, teaching, nursing, or social work. Checks are sent directly to the institution. Apply by April 23, 2023.

The Centennial Scholarship Fund helps deserving full-time United Methodist students attend college, university or graduate school. Metropolitan United Methodist Church members are given priority scholarship consideration, although, other United Methodist students are also seriously considered. YOU MUST APPLY EACH YEAR. This is a tuition based scholarship. Apply by May 3, 2024.

The GBHEM scholarship application opens in January of each year. You can only submit one application per year where it will be screened for all possible eligible programs. Scholarship programs are divided into three categories: General Scholarships, Racial-Ethnic Scholarships, and Ministry as a Career Scholarships. APPLICATION PERIOD: DEC. 15 - MARCH 13

UMHEF scholarships help make it financially possible for qualifying students to obtain higher education, especially those attending United Methodist-related institutions.
