Christian Camps: life-changing at any age!

Do you know a child,

youth or adult who…

  • Loves to laugh?

  • Loves making new friends?

  • Wants to learn more about their faith?

Camp is the PERFECT place for them- for YOU!

We are so blessed in Michigan to have a great camping ministry. There are Christian camping experiences available through Grace Outside - a ministry of the Michigan Area United Methodist Camping, offering places like Wesley Woods and Lake Michigan Camp and many of our own children, youth, and adults have experienced Christian camping at Lake Louise Christian Community in Boyne Falls.

Camp is a place like no other.

It is a place set apart from the normal day to day of life. A place where you can connect with God, connect with nature, and connect with new friends without the distractions of the daily routines at home.

Most of all, camp is FUN!

There are always lots of fun games, time at the lake for swimming and splashing and sand castle building, laughs with friends, and new adventures to try. There is a camp for everyone! Some camps have kids come with a parent or grandparent, some are for whole families to come together, some are for high schoolers, some for singers (and it should be mentioned that Choir Camp also takes LOTS of non singers too!), some for kids who want to stay up all night, and some for those who just want to have a chance to grow in their faith.

So what are you waiting for?

Are YOU ready to go have a great, safe time at camp this summer? Check out lakelouisecommunity.org or umcamping.org for more information! You can always check in with Christie Brewster, Lake Louise Choir Camp Dean and all-around camp cheerleader if you have any questions.
