Mark the Triumphant Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem!

Sunday, April 2 @ 10 a.m.
Palm Sunday and Celebration of Holy Communion

…after throwing their cloaks on the colt, they set Jesus on it. 36 As he rode along, people kept spreading their cloaks on the road. - Luke 19: 35-36

Come mark the start of Holy Week by commemorating the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. Learn why coats symbolize a sacrifice of great value to soften the path for the King of Kings. What was it that compelled people to throw down their treasured possession for Jesus?

Holy Communion will also be celebrated. Communion at Dearborn First UMC is open to all who wish to know Jesus regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation or practice, or religious background. Gluten-free bread and non-alcoholic grape juice are served so that all may freely take part in this experience together as one body in Christ.
