UMCOR SUNDAY, MARCH 15, 10 a.m. - Donate to support the operating expenses of United Methodist Committee on Relief, so that 100% of all relief donations can go directly to those in need.
Michigan UMC Advocacy Day, Wednesday, March 18 in Lansing, Michigan. Michigan United Methodists and friends will gather to impact change in the area of food insecurity. Activities include meeting with lawmakers, writing letters, and peaceful gathering, prayer and worship.
Food Distribution takes place the third Saturday of every month. Show up at Good Shepherd UMC from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. to serve, or to be served. Learn more on our food ministry web page.
THURSDAY, March 12 @ 7 P.M., come to Dearborn First UMC to experience a night of advocacy and justice-seeking through art of all forms: visual arts, music, storytelling, and spoken prose. This event will focus on the militarization in our communities.
Dearborn First Missions invites you to help assemble 300 sack lunches for NOAH at Central. WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8 in DFUMC Welcome Center/Library area. 5:00 p.m. - FREE PIZZA. 5:30 p.m. - lunch sack packing until all 300 are finished. You can also volunteer to make sandwiches at home, donate online, and/or deliver the sandwiches to Central UMC in Detroit on the morning of Thursday, April 9, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m..
