This Sunday, Dearborn First UMC continues the sermon and study series, Final Words, based on the book by Adam Hamilton. How do the final words of Jesus mean new life for us?
Additionally, each Sunday in Lent, the Easter cross is dressed with a different Lenten symbol. This Sunday’s symbol is the crown of thorns, placed on the head of Jesus by the Roman soldiers who mocked him, saying “Hail, King of the Jews…” (John 19:1-3)
Dearborn First UMC is also celebrating the 93-year-old Scouting Ministry during worship with a brief presentation from Scout Troop #1104.
