Make a joyful noise unto the Lord - Join DFUMC Chancel Choir!

Chancel Choir is open to anyone who loves to express praise, prayer, and words of inspiration and faith through singing!

Rehearsals take place weekly on Wednesdays.

Songs are shared as musical offerings frequently each month during Sunday worship. Choir members report at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays to warm up for worship, which starts at 10 a.m.

It’s a great way to make friends, have fun, and express faith together!

Sunday, May 17th we’ll recognize and thank our dedicated clergy and staff for all their hard work and service over the last year. Monetary gifts of appreciation can be given online, or via cash or check payable to Dearborn First UMC, “Staff Appreciation” in the memo line.

Sunday, May 24 @ 10 a.m. we will honor and remember beloved DFUMC military personnel who died in service to our country. Submit your loved one’s information to be remembered, using the online form (DearbornFirstUMC.org/memorialday) or contact the office (313-563-5200 ext. 0) by Tuesday, May 19.

Tap into your creative side and use your skills for a good cause! Come to SUMMER MISSION CRAFTING & MOVIE NIGHTS 2nd Wednesdays (June - August), 5 - 8 p.m. in DFUMC’s Creator Space. Projects include creating a non-traditional worship banner from pop cans, weaving mats from plastic grocery bags for unhoused persons, and whatever you may propose and wish to lead!
