Dearborn First United Methodist Church has an active Handbell program. We are Ministers of Music and share our love of Jesus Christ, enjoy fellowship with others, and ringing handbells, all to God’s glory!
We are currently scheduling 1 handbell choir (Carillons), 1 Handbell Quartet and small ensembles. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from September thru May. Visitors or new members are welcome anytime!

Share your Dearborn First Pride - Volunteer at Motor City Pride Festival - staff a booth and/or march in - or watch - the parade. Saturday , June 7 & Sunday, June 8. Join our friends at Central UMC as you meet and greet Festival attendees and share hospitality, support, and friendship!
Sunday, June 8 @ 10 a.m., come experience the Holy Spirit working in and through the church as we celebrate Pentecost, welcome new members, take part in Holy Communion and celebrate Pride all as one beautiful, diverse body in Christ.

The Book Club at Dearborn First UMC meets every 2nd Thursday of the month at 2 pm via In-person/Zoom hybrid. DFUMC Climate Consciousness Team is hosting a work day Saturday, September 14, 9 a.m. - noon. Tasks include planting to help our gardens thrive naturally, with less watering and maintenance, as well as continued work to restore the large kitchen to working order. Come help improve our impact on God’s creation and our ability to serve within our community!
