Ash Wednesday Worship Service
Wednesday, March 5, 7 p.m.
Pastor Suzy Todd and Pastor Steve Perrine, officiating

On Ash Wednesday, we mark the beginning of Lent and come before God, repenting our sin, recognizing our mortality, and acknowledging that Jesus triumphed over both for us through his death and resurrection.

Pastor Suzy Todd will be preaching from Psalm 51:1-17.

Imposition of Ashes: Congregants can choose to come forward and receive a cross on forehead or hand as an outward sign of our humanity, and humble repentance of our sins before God and each other.

Holy Communion will also be celebrated, open to all who desire to know more about Jesus, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation or practice, gender identity or expression, or religious background. Alcohol-free grape juice and gluten-free bread are used so that all may participate.

Children and youth are invited to take part and are welcome! A Wee Worship space is available in the sanctuary for children ages 4 and younger who may need to get some wiggles out. Parents can sit adjacent to the space and continue to participate in worship while keeping an eye on their younger worshipers.

Take part in person and via livestream on our website, our facebook page, or our YouTube Channel.
