FEED THE COMMUNITY!

Help Dearborn First UMC support a variety of food assistance programs like food pantries at UM-Dearborn, HFC, Good Shepherd UMC, and Blessings in a Backpack.

Here’s how:

SUPPORT THE 2026 SOUPERBOWL CHALLENGE!
Jan. 11 - Feb. 8

Five Dearborn churches are competing to collect THE MOST food donations for their respective food pantries! The winner takes the trophy and all churches are stocked to help alleviate hunger in Dearborn - it’s a win-win!
Bring donated food items to the mission table at the DFUMC Welcome Center, or make a financial donation ($1 = 1 can). Send cash or check payable to Dearborn First UMC with “food bank” in the memo.
Or click the button to give online.

  • SUPPORT BLESSINGS IN A BACKPACK

Blessings in a Backpack provides sacks of food to Dearborn school children each weekend.

    SEVERAL WAYS TO HELP:
    1) Help DFUMC Missions Team pack food the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. Christ Episcopal Church, 120 N Military St. Dearborn.
