FAMILIES - A NEW SERMON SERIES BEGINS AT DEARBORN FIRST UMC!

This Sunday marks the beginning of a new Sermon Series, "Families!" Pastor David's message, "You are the BELOVED!" explores the Baptism of Jesus, based on the Gospel reading from Luke 3:15-17, 21-22.

The service starts off the new year as one of remembrance and renewal. First, we will participate in a long-time Wesleyan/Methodist tradition of renewal - John Wesley’s Covenant Prayer. Through the covenant, we renew our commitment to our relationship with God. Read more about it here.

We will also celebrate the service of Holy Communion. Communion in the United Methodist Church is an open table, meaning anybody seeking a relationship with Jesus may participate, regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual practice, or spiritual background.
