We offer an inclusive, open Communion Table

The sacrament of Holy Communion at Dearborn First UMC is open to all - whether black, white, gay, straight, baptized, unbaptized, young, old - who love Christ, who earnestly repent of their sin, and seek to be at peace with one another.

Upholding that same spirit of inclusiveness, the United Methodist churches use grape juice during Communion, instead of wine. This removes any obstacle to those who choose to abstain from alcohol for any reason. Read more.

Get Communion elements delivered to your home

If you prefer to worship at home, you can get blessed communion elements delivered to your porch* in time for Sunday’s service.

The deadline to request communion porch delivery is Wednesday, September 29.
