This Sunday, Dearborn First UMC celebrates the first Sunday of Lent and Holy Communion.
The sermon and study series, Final Words, is based on the book by Adam Hamilton. How do the final words of Jesus mean new life for us?
Additionally, each Sunday in Lent, the Easter cross will be dressed by a different Lenten symbol. This Sunday’s symbol is the chalice and paten, representing the bread and wine symbolizing the body and blood of Jesus.
We will also celebrate Holy Communion, commemorating the last supper. Communion in the United Methodist Church is open to all, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation or practice, or religious background.
Come worship in-person, or via Livestream here on our LIVE page, on Facebook, or on our YouTube Channel.
