Palm Sunday Worship “It is Finished. Into Your Hands I Commend My Spirit.”

  • Dearborn First United Methodist Church 22124 Garrison Street Dearborn, MI, 48124 United States (map)

This Sunday is Palm Sunday, and the last installment of the sermon and study series, “Final Words,” based on the book by Adam Hamilton. How do the final words of Jesus mean new life for us?

Additionally, each Sunday in Lent, the Easter cross is dressed with a different Lenten symbol. This Sunday’s symbol is the palm branch, representing those waved by the crowd during Jesus’s triumphant entrance into Jerusalem. (John 19:29-38)

Throughout Lent, worshipers have been lighting prayer candles ifor peace in Ukraine. Although this Sunday marks the last opportunity to do so in worship, everybody is encouraged to continue praying for Ukraine, as well as those experiencing unrest and hardship the world over.

Come worship in-person, or via Livestream here on our LIVE page, on Facebook, or on our YouTube Channel.
