The traditional telling of the Christmas story often focuses on Mary, and is told from her viewpoint. Very little is known about Joseph, and his words are few. Yet he listened to God, accepted a wife who was miraculously with child, adopted a baby boy who was not his own, protected him, provided for him, taught him, and raised him to fulfill a prophecy as the Son of God. Would we do the same?
