ABOUT THE SERVICE:

The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. dreamed, loved, and preached about the power of service. He encouraged us to rise to the occasion of serving others by saying,

“Everyone has the power for greatness, not for fame but greatness, because greatness is determined by service.”

We invite you to come honor the greatness that was woven throughout his life through a celebration with song, prayer, and acknowledgement of those within our congregations who are pivotal examples of his legacy.

This event is co-hosted by: Dearborn First and Good Shepherd UMCs, partnered with Dearborn Area Interfaith Network (DAIN)

Faithfully,
