Mission Team Planning Meeting

Come help plan “Church has Left the Building” - Sunday morning mission OUTSIDE our church building on September 21, and the Rotating Shelter January 3-10 as we feed and house clients of Cass Community Social Services. DFUMC Climate Consciousness Team is hosting a work day Saturday, September 14, 9 a.m. - noon. Tasks include planting to help our gardens thrive naturally, with less watering and maintenance, as well as continued work to restore the large kitchen to working order. Lunch Packing for NOAH at Central
Dearborn First Missions invites you to help assemble 300 sack lunches for NOAH at Central. WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9 in DFUMC Welcome Center/Library area. 5:00 p.m. - FREE PIZZA. 5:30 p.m. - lunch sack packing until all 300 are finished. You can also volunteer to make sandwiches at home, donate online, and/or deliver the sandwiches to Central UMC in Detroit on the morning of Oct. 17.

9th Annual Souperbowl Challenge
9th Annual Souperbowl Challenge Jan. 1 through Feb. 9, 2025. Four local churches compete to fill their food pantries to help those in need. Please bring donations to the DFUMC Welcome Center - BUT PLEASE WAIT UNTIL JANUARY 1! Otherwise, they don’t count.
